It's Been a Month...

...and I'm still reading The Glass Palace by Amitav Ghosh. I don't think I've ever taken so long to read a book. And the reason is because it's so good that I can't bring myself to finish it all at once. Well I'm sure we've all had that kind of experience before.

The storyline stretches across three different countries - Myanmar, India and Malaya - the first two of which we'll be visiting after Laos. Hopefully I'll be done with the book by then and be able to verify for myself some of the things Amitav Ghosh says.
